Steps to take on the road
Thanks to the U.S E.P.A. ( United States Environmental Protection Agency ) we can follow a bunch of guidelines to do something about globalwarming. The following is an extract of the steps to follow on the road to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2). These precautions will reduce the increase of greenhouse gas emissions. Also, it reduces the importation of oil from foreign countries, and if one looks at what's happening in the Middle East, it won't be a bad thing.

1) When you buy a new car, you should take a look at how it complies with EPA Green Vehicle Guidelines.
2) Drive smarter. In fact, hard accelerations and brakes increase fuel comsuption. Therefore, drive smooth !
3) Check your car. By keeping your car well tuned, you will save fuel.
4) Control the tires. Your car needs good tires to run well. You have to remember that your tires are the only component in touch with the road. So used tires are dangerous, and do not help consuming less fuel.
5) Share your car. Especially to go to work, you can share your car with others.
6) Use public transportation. Better that sharing your car, public transportation will totally reduce your fuel use.
7) Choose alternative energies. Now, you can find great cars that run on alternative energies.
