Self-analysis
I guess this SEO World Championship with this stupid keyword about global warming makes me wonder. If I take a look at my lifestyle, is there something I need to worry about ? Do I respect the planet Earth as much as I could ?
My car
I heard that automobiles are responsible for a huge part of world's pollution. Well, I have to plead guilty on that one because I drive one of the less environmentally friendly car. It is a Porsche Cayenne, which consumes more thant 20 liters of gasoline per 100km. An engine fiiled with 345 horsepower and a top speed of 250 km/h is making my day on and off the road.
However, I love my car, and I'm not ready to trade it against a Hybrid Honda Civic !
My office
On my desk, I have 6 computers running at the same time. The problem is that I have only ten fingers and two eyes; therefore, why do I need so many computers ??? Well, I need to look upon this parameter because I could seriously reduce the use of energy on that one. I guess, I didn't realize how my computer life got out of hands.
My home
At home, my family does no effort to use less energy. 2 or 3 TVs are running at the same time, even if nobody if watching. I pay a huge electricity bill (450€/month in the winter). We don't eat bio food or use bio products. We don't recycle garbage. Actually, I have a hard time finding something I do to reduce global warming. Ah yes, I don't throw away used batteries ! What a huge commitment to reverse climate change !!!
Slap myself
From now on, I will do my best to check where I can help the planet survive a bit longer. The weird thing is that I'm totally aware of the drama about Global Warming, but I'm not doing anything on my side to help. I know this is wrong, but I guess that the problem is so much over my head that I feel that there is nothing I could do.
